Build your van, get an itemised quote, and pick it up again anytime — on your phone or computer. Here's how it works, start to finish.
1. Start with your van
Head to Build Your Van and tell us what you're starting with:
- I already have a van — we spec the upfit to your exact Sprinter.
- Buy & build from our inventory — pick an in-stock Sprinter and build on it.
- Order brand-new from Mercedes-Benz — factory-order through us and build your spec while you wait.
Then choose your wheelbase, roof height and weight rating (GVM). The GVM sets your payload budget — the bar at the bottom of the screen tracks how much carrying capacity your build has left as you add gear. Everything the tool shows you from this point is filtered to fit your van — if it doesn't fit your wheelbase, roof or GVM, you won't see it.
2. Sign in (20 seconds, no password)
Enter your email and Shopify sends you a one-time code — no password to remember. Signing in is what makes your build save automatically and follow you between devices, and it's where your itemised quote gets emailed.
3. Work through the build
The tool walks you through your van in the same order a real fitout happens: wheels & stance → roof → front & sides → windows & bodywork → interior → power → finishing touches.
- Nothing is compulsory. Tap Skip to move past any section — you can come back anytime.
- Pairs with your gear. When a product works with something you've already picked — an awning for your roof rack, a mattress for your bed — the tool tells you, and only shows you the options that match.
- Details on tap. Tap any product for photos, specs and pricing; the ⓘ icon opens the full product page.
- Jump around. The ☰ menu (top-left) lets you jump straight to any section, and shows a tick where you've already picked something.
4. Review and get your quote
Tap Summary at any time to see your van, every item you've added, the payload you've used and your running total. You'll also see a short "Goes well with your build" list — popular add-ons that match what you've picked, one tap to add.
Happy? Hit Get your instant quote for a full itemised quote — print it, save it as a PDF, or have it emailed to you. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
A note on pricing: parts are supply-only — installation isn't included, and the van itself is quoted separately. Where an item needs engineering certification for road use, we'll flag it and can connect you with vetted installers and certifying engineers.
5. Come back anytime
Your build saves automatically as you go. To pick it up again:
- On the same device, just open Build Your Van — it restores exactly where you left off.
- From any other device, sign in and open My Builds — every build you've saved or quoted is there. Tap Continue this build to keep going, or × to delete one you're done with.
