Every product Trekano supplies is backed by the manufacturer's warranty and your guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Here's what's covered and how to make a claim.

Your consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn't amount to a major failure.

Product warranty

Trekano is the Australian distributor for Flatline Van Co and works with a range of trusted partner brands. Products carry the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated on the product or your invoice. Trekano manages these claims on your behalf — you deal with us, not the overseas factory.

What's covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Structural failure of racks, bars and carriers under normal, rated use
  • Powder-coat and finish defects present on arrival

What's not covered

  • Normal wear and tear, fading and stone chips
  • Damage from misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, accident or off-label use
  • Incorrect or incomplete installation, or modification of the product
  • Consumables and hardware past a reasonable service life

Upfit & installation workmanship

If your van was upfitted by Trekano, our workmanship is warranted in addition to the product warranties above. If your parts were fitted by a third party — including an installer from our builder network — the workmanship of that installation rests with the installer who completed it. Either way, we'll help you get to the right party.

How to make a claim

  1. Have your order number and proof of purchase ready.
  2. Take clear photos of the issue, including the product and any affected area of the van.
  3. Contact our support team with the details — we'll assess the claim and arrange repair, replacement or refund as required.
Specific warranty periods vary by product and brand — the period that applies to your purchase is shown on the product page or your invoice.
