Flatline Van Co's popular rear step replaces the Sprinter's single-side factory step with heavy-duty ¼” steel plate, non-slip grip tape and a powder-coat finish — a genuine upgrade in both looks and function for the back of your van. It keeps enough clearance to use your tow hitch, and hides the hitch nicely too. FVC redesigned the step in November 2021 with a wider profile and grip tape, making it even easier and safer to access the back of the van.
Installation is quick — FVC's last time trial came in at 7 minutes: remove the two bottom bolts on either side of the factory rear hitch, insert the step, and refit the bolts. The installation guide shows more detail.
